Cara Scholey

B.Sc. (Honours) Biochemistry and Biomedical Science (University of Windsor)
Cara is a Masters of Science candidate in the Dason Lab exploring the role of specific miRNAs involved in nociception in Drosophila melanogaster. Cara is working to obtain her Master's degree in Biological Sciences - Neuroscience and Behaviour at the University of Windsor. Cara obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Science from the University of Windsor in 2025.
Outside the lab, Cara spends her time coaching volleyball or hanging with Mr. Mushroom, her cat.
